What Does Successful Marketing Look Like?

Startup marketing is basically a different science altogether. That’s right: It’s not just about getting your product in front of a hungry crowd, but also about having the best marketing strategy imaginable. Here’s how it works:

How so? The key is understanding how to combine the right channels: Social Media and Content Marketing. You see, there are two major ingredients to a successful startup marketing strategy: Content and Social Media. In fact, this is where things like blogs and podcasts come into play. The saas marketing helps your business get in front of its target audience faster and easier, while social media allows you to connect with those same audiences on a more personal level.

So how do you combine the two? The answer is twofold: Buyers and SEO. Content marketing can actually help your business do both, as you’ll notice in the next section. However, what if you’re not in a position to take advantage of what content marketing offers, or what else is a must-have in a marketing channel?

If you have access to a decent sized list and a solid understanding of SEO and link building, then all you need is access to YouTube. For starters, every successful startup needs to have a decent video portfolio with the help of the b2b strategy agency. You don’t necessarily have to have ten videos uploaded to YouTube; you just need a few that are effective. Ideally, you want to focus on creating quality content that your target audience will value. This means you should upload video related to your products or services but also make sure your vid is visually attractive and easy to embed.

The final component that you absolutely must have if you want to have success with startup online is Google’s inbound marketing tools. Starting from the homepage, Google has a wealth of fantastic tools designed to help startups create quality backlinks. One of my absolute favorite features is called “Google Insights.” This is essentially like a tutorial on how to generate quality links. If you haven’t checked it out, you owe it to yourself to check it out. I cannot tell you how many startups have failed because they didn’t take advantage of what this awesome tool can offer.

In short, the internet is full of great resources for successful marketing, but you need to make sure you have the basic skills to make it all work. One of my favorite courses is called “Building Marketing Muscle,” which has had very good success for me. In summary, you need to learn how to gain backlinks, YouTube, google insights, and the core channel. With these four components, you’ll be well on your way to creating a highly successful startup marketing business.
